AMAZONITE
"Amazon women unite"...
A phrase that chants in my head
from when I first carved amazonite some 26 years ago.
A stone for me that speaks to feminine power.
A power differing from masculine power
as empowering or "power with"
rather than "power over" or domination.
Not to be confused with male and female.
No matter the gender we identify with,
we all have access to masculine and feminine energies,
and all have their healthy expressions.
This stone speaks to me
of the healthy feminine expression of power.
Strong, vital, aware and inclusive.
There is a compassionate quality to the power
that generates from loving self-acceptance.
And a willingness to be humble in greatness.
