💜 Unconditional Love of Sugilite 💜
SUGILITE
I have always called Sugilite "The Love stone for this Age".Discovered in 1944 in Japan by Ken-ichi Sugi,
no one took much notice of this yellow/brown rock.
Then around 1976,
it came to the USA from The Kalahari of South Africa
in every shade of deep gorgeous purple
and people went crazy for this stone.
The love affair has never ended.
Always in short supply,
it is said that the majority of the rough is smuggled out of the mine.
What is evident to me is its deep wisdom of Love.
It offers a grounded somatic experience of unconditional love
bringing it into true understanding rather than conceptualization.
In my 26 years of working with the stones,
Sugilite has always held a place of master-teacher.
