FoMO...

Blue Kyanite from Nepal with little specks of Ruby...

Kyanite~ The stone that I am sure all of you

have heard me talk about as my "desert island" stone.

This amazing stone of alignment is just what the doctor ordered for the holidays.

Knowing when you have had enough...

A friend recently introduce me to a new word FoMO.
Fear of Missing Out ~
"a pervasive apprehension that others might be having rewarding experiences from which one is absent"
 Can you relate?
There are so many wonderful things going on,
especially this time of year, just can't do them all!
Honestly since the addition of a puppy to our lives,
we can't do any of them.

The truth is that I am completely contented being right where I am.
In my wonderful home, with my man and our puppy...
Life is good!

So why the angst over missing out?

remember as a child
doing my best to stay up to the very end of my parents parties
because I didn't want to miss out on one thing...
Now with social media,
everyday we get to see all the amazing things friends are doing
 (and eating:)
 all over the planet!
The ante has definitely been upped,
from my folks back yard parties for sure...

I believe the angst comes from looking outside ourselves for nourishment and connection.
Of course we absolutely need human connection,
but the relief comes in finding that still place within
and connecting deeply to the source of All that Is.
Being fed from the source.

Then we when do go out to nourish each other with connection,
we are bringing our own pure source juice to the party!

No matter where we go or what we do
there is only ever one constant,
and that is this all pervading ISness.

So FoMO has become my indicator,
If it is overly active, time to connect within...

Welcome the newest addition to the studio...
